Couldn’t sleep, had to try this extraordinary natural single lot @donpepestate for the very first time. Well, if you love 🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑 you are in for a treat. Going to have to scratch the blue handwritten #Barty, and find a peachie fluro texter instead if we decide to release this super-#specialtycoffee varietal.
It is a completely exotic variety and very expressive in its aromas. Its coffee has a light body and in the cup, it usually displays a pleasant sweetness and a flavour that can vary from berries and citrus, apricots, peaches, jasmine and gardenia.
Considered “the champagne of the coffees” and world-known for its distinguished quality, due to its different cultivation techniques that were perfected in the Highlands of Panama.
Don Pepe Estate Coffee is a family farm that, since 1898, has been dedicated uninterruptedly to the cultivation of coffee, thus being the first company specialising in the coffee industry in the Republic of Panama.
Nowadays, the farm has the necessary capacity to produce different exotic varieties of grains, which have managed to surprise and delight all kinds of palates, making Don Pepe Estate Coffee one of the best in the world.
A family farm that has been operating since 1898. Four generations of the Vásquez have farmed in the foothills of Volcán de Barú in an area called Volcancito. This is in the famous coffee growing area of Boquete, Chiriquí, well known for its gorgeous coffees.
Tony Vásquez [Don Tony] put the estate on the world coffee map with his outstanding Gesha coffees and is recognised for his tireless hard work and vision in driving quality not just with his estate but for Panamanian coffee in general. Sadly, Don Tony passed away in 2016 but his drive and focus is continued by the Vásquez family.
With his environmental vision and quality-focused production, Don Tony ensures that Don Pepe will continue to grow, and produce some of the world’s best coffees for generations to come.
