Our black #Barty profile with pride, perfect for a double shot espresso or your V60 filter which we've paired the iconic Hario V60 filter and papers from Ethiopia Yirga Chefe, a fairtrade washed processed bean.
Irgachefe is a town in central southern Ethiopia in Yirgachefe District. Located in the Gedeo Zone of the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples' Region, this town has an elevation between 1,880 and 1,919 metres above sea level.
Weather: 17 °C, Wind NE at 6 km/h, 70% Humidity.
The birthplace of coffee ladies & gentlemen in 850 AD and 34% of the nation's exports. Ethiopian coffee is Volcanic.
This Ethiopian coffee rolls over the tongue leaving a sweet spicy scent, hints of cinnamon and orange zest.
It's gentle, rounded, easy acidity matches the floral scent to perfection and complements the smooth warming taste. Hints of fruit, currants and cinnamon flow over the taste buds, leaving complex flavours of fruit, wonderful floral notes and a tingly, spicy finish.
Everything you need for a world-class cup of filter, a Barty in the comfort of your own home.
Hario makes the V60 dripper in a range of materials from plastic to copper - conveniently the plastic model is on the most affordable end of the spectrum and is also the BEST for heat retention. Meaning your water temperature during the brew stays hotter and more stable resulting in better extraction and a better-tasting cup!

Good kit for getting started with v60, thanks Barty
Still haven't received it so I wouldn't know. Placed the order on the 1st September. Notified that it was shipped on the 8th. Checked tracking and it says scheduled for pickup. On the 20th September, they wanted me to activate an account because my address was incorrect (it wasn't). Replied to the email but still have yet to receive a response.
Thanks guys, love this kit, all I have to say is love the cause and keeps me de-funked, it's part of my morning ritual, grinding, brewing and drinking a beautiful specialty. Thanks again.
